VOLUNTEER

If you enjoy working with animals, this shelter is a great opportunity to experience the hybrid animal behavior. Not only will you be able to care for these breeds but you will also interact with them through baths, training, and many other tasks. Taking part in special events and transportation is also a fun experience.

Teen volunteer opportunities are also available on weekends during business hours. Throught the experience, teens will be coached by professional staff on how to care for and handle hybrids such as wolf dogs, bengal cats, and beefalos. While learning how to handle them, they will also be informed on the dangers of these breeds if mishandled or mistreated.

Wolf of the week

This is Dara. She is a cross between Husky and Alaskan Wolf. She is well known for her quick ability to learn concepts and her deep stares, but she has the heart of a pup.
